Mission Trip to South Sudan

On November 5, 2019, Southern Sudan Hope’s founder, Ageth, will visit the refugee camp. This trip will allow Ageth to deliver the donated medical supplies, school supplies and buy more food for the pantry.

Why we do it.

The civil war in Sudan has displaced over 2.1 million people. Leaving countless impoverished children, suffering from malnutrition and men and women wounded.

We are working to raise awareness and collect donations to support the famine relief and medical aid in Sudan

“My heart is still smiling. We cannot thank you enough for your support. The generous donation of the wheelchair that provided Mwendwa has given him freedom of movement. ”

Where it goes.

All donation contributes to providing much-needed materials like food, fresh-water, clothing, and medical care for communities in Sudan.

Donations are given directly to the relief camps and the doctors for food, medical support, and school supplies.

This non-profit organization was created to help the displaced by creating resources to put them back on their feet and give them HOPE.

Southern Sudan Hope has worked to support three branches of work in the refugee camps.

Donations like mobility aid, first aid kits, and glasses from local hospitals and independent practices, has helped improve life for many. These items have allowed Southern Sudan Hope to give wheels to the immobile, eyes to the visually impaired, and surgical supplies for the wounded.

The camps are filled with children but not a school in sight. Education is key for a better future, so Southern Sudan Hope has reached out to the donors. After a year of fundraising, it was able to raise enough funds to build a school. When the community heard that a school was going to be built, volunteers started to coming from all directions.

Southern Sudan Hunger

Famine Relief

Malnutrition is one of the most common causes of death for members of the camps. The number of people entering is growing but the amount of food is declining. Southern Sudan Hope is working to fix this problem with the help of our donors. The funds collected are helping to pay for grains, cooking equipments, and water.

We Can Only Give what we have.
